We are providing our support to the excellent ongoing work done by the Leicester Samaritans branch which is one of the few in the country which provides a 24/7 telephone service. This means that they not only support and assist those who are resident in Leicestershire but also potentially anywhere in the country. We are hoping that people will follow them on Twitter and like their Leicester Samaritans page as awareness is very important.
We were delighted to be able to support them with this year’s Mental Health fundraiser at The City Rooms which was a great success.
It is our intention to support Leicester Samaritans going forward and any assistance would be much appreciated. Volunteers are a key requirement for them going forward and they have a full and comprehensive training programme available.
