Back in June, Thaliwal Bridge solicitors were involved in the Refugee Event week at the Town Square in Leicester. The event was organised by the British Red Cross with the purpose to raise awareness in relation to the issues that asylum seekers face in the UK. We set up a stall where we were happy to speak with the public about our services and about the issues surrounding the asylum process. We even baked cakes for our visitors and have included a few snaps below.
We believe that events such as this are an important way of spreading awareness on this important and complex issue, and we were very proud to be involved. We hope our visitors enjoyed the cakes and most importantly, that they took home useful information regarding the asylum process.
